Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are an important metric in businesses, linking the business’s strategic goals to day-to-day activities. They provide a means for accountability and are a future predictor of success which, when measured at the right intervals, allows management to make effective decisions on course correction when needed.
However, KPIs are really only effective if you identify the right ones for your business. KPIs will only deliver insightful data if you use the right KPIs and analyse what they tell you on a regular basis to inform your decision making.
All too often, businesses jump straight to setting targets based on the first indicators that come to mind, or ones commonly used by others. But these are not necessarily relevant to your business and won’t be the powerful driver of performance and behaviours that KPIs can be.

Over 2 workshops, our facilitators assist your business to identify the Key Performance Questions (the questions to ask which tell management whether the business is performing) and from that, the Key Performance Indicators (the measure that will be used to track performance). Upon completion of the workshops, the business is equipped with the ability to stress test whether the KPIs identified are meaningful, measurable and relevant.
